What is a Driver Helpful® DOT Physical Exam?
Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Dr. Trent Peng holds a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois in 2004. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; He graduated with a major in psychology. After graduation, Dr. Peng served as an associate chiropractor for clinics in Waco (2005-06) and Belton (2006-08), eventually finding employment in Pflugerville (2008-12) and later became the owner of Pflugerville Wellness Center (2012-current). Dr. Peng has been certified as a DOT medical examiner listed in the National Registry since 2014. Additionally, he is undergoing the 300-hour diplomate program in occupational Health and applied ergonomics so he can better serve and consult the working population. Furthermore, Dr. Peng has completed his masters degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center for the Public Health program, with a major in epidemiology and minor in biostatistics. He is currently a ph.d. candidate in epidemiology. Dr. Peng’s goal is to engage in epidemiological research in addition to his chiropractic and occupational health practice. Based on his education and experiences, Dr. Peng believes in the evidence-based treatment approach. In addition, he strongly promotes a holistic approach to healthcare, including proper diet, posture/ergonomics, and exercises, and frequently consults patients on these factors to improve patients’ overall Health.
