What is a Driver Helpful® DOT Physical Exam?
Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Dr. Chris Bowers, DC, CME Dr. Bowers is a cedar rapids native and graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2008. He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors in 1994 at Western colorado University in professional biology: pre-med emphasis and a minor in chemistry and received his a.a. In 1991 from kirkwood community College. He is a graduate of cedar rapids kennedy high school as well. He was involved in football, basketball, track, and competition water/snow skiing. He is a past district president and compliance committee chair of the iowa Chiropractic society (ics), and a member of the american Chiropractic Association. He is a certified Chiropractic extremity practitioner (c.c.e.p) and utilizes many soft tissue techniques including dry needling, cupping and myofascial release. The adjusting techniques he uses in practice are Palmer package including gonstead, diversified, thompson, and activator. He is a past member of the daybreak rotary in cedar rapids and the cedar rapids chamber of commerce. He has served on the board of directors with his hands-free Medical Clinic. He has served as the team chiropractor for the cedar rapids titans, cedar rapids r&age, and hard drive mma (mixed martial arts). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family (son logan and his dog violet). His hobbies are water/snow skiing, working out, biking, and playing golf. He is a lifelong member of st. Mark’s lutheran church in marion, iowa.
