Biography
Nurse Practitioner FMCSA Medical ExaminerSherocko Gatling-James is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University in 1999 and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2017. She has a variety of clinical experiences including a 22-year career as a VA nurse in the Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Care Unit, Interventional Radiology, and Gastroenterology Outpatient Services.
Sherocko has enjoyed serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Transitional Based Homecare, Primary Care Clinic, and Telemedicine. Sherocko is passionate about bringing care to those who might not otherwise receive it in the telemedicine setting. She is based out of Atlanta, Gwinnett County, and surrounding Counties in the Georgia area and enjoys seeing patients all over the U.S. In her free time, she enjoys staying active with traveling, event planning, and playing with her 5 years old son.
