Biography
Dr. Michael A. Siefman has been a National Registry Certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation for many years. He is originally from Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1983. He opened his first private practice in Miami, Florida in 1986. In 2001, he relocated to Naples, Florida where he has been in practice ever since.Dr. Siefman is board certified in neurology through the American Academy of Chiropractic Neurology and the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology. He is also board certified and a Diplomate of the International Board of Electrodiagnosis.
Dr. Siefman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Disability Analysts, and a board certified consultant through the American Board of Chiropractic Consultants. He was the Board Examiner for the Florida Department of Health and the Chiropractic Board of Medicine from 2003 to 2007. He was Vice President of the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology in 2004. He was President of the American Chiropractic Association's Academy of Neurology in 1993. He is a trustee of the Florida Chiropractic Association Council of Neurology from 2009 to the present. He was a liaison between the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine and the Florida Chiropractic Association. He was founder and immediate past president of the American College of Clinical Electrodiagnosis. Dr. Siefman was the founder and past president of the International Board of Electrodiagnosis. He was an Expert Medical Advisor for the Florida Department of Labor in 2005.
In addition to his degree as a chiropractic physician, he received 4 under graduate degrees to include liberal arts, chemistry, biology, and physical therapy. Dr. Siefman currently holds active licenses for physical therapy in Colorado and Indiana.
