What is a Driver Helpful® DOT Physical Exam?
Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Dr. McFarland is a Dual Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and the CEO and Founder of MyNP Professionals Family Medical Clinic in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Dr. McFarland has been a Family Nurse practitioner for 17 plus years and a Registered Nurse for 22 plus years. She is the author of a peer-reviewed journal CME article “Early Identification of Pancreatic Cancer,” featured in the Clinician Reviews peer-reviewed journal. She has presented podium and poster presentations locally and nationally on various health care related topics. She was featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for her involvement in integrating primary care into a behavioral health care setting. She is a Fellow of the 2018-2019 Duke Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Program, where she implemented a Diabetes app for individuals living with Diabetes titled “Whatz Diabetes.” Dr. McFarland is the recipient of the Milwaukee Business Journal 2016, 40 under 40 Award; Milwaukee Times 2017, Corporate Trailblazer Black Excellence Award; and the 2016, American Association of Nurse Practitioners State Advocate Award.
