New California Instructions for CDL/CLP Drivers under 21
Remember:
CA DMV will not accept Page 5 for any reason.

The new instructions only apply to CDL/CLP drivers or applicants who are medically qualified to drive across state lines (interstate) except they are under 21 years old.
In this case, CMEs are to use page 4Â and issue the driver a MECÂ and mark the first circle that is used for interstate drivers.
Have the driver go to a CA DMV office, and the CA DMV will give them a CDL or CLP that is restricted to intrastate driving. Teamwork makes the Dream Work
