About the provider

Dr. Stephen E. Sligh, DC, has been serving Lakeland since 1977. As a third-generation chiropractor, he continues the legacy started by his grandparents in 1926. His father, Dr. Walter E. Sligh, influenced him deeply, emphasizing chiropractic care and faith. Dr. Sligh holds a BA from Covenant College and graduated from the National College of Chiropractic. He has held leadership roles in the Polk County Chiropractic Society and received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance Back Pain Program. He is active in his community, serving on the board of Lakeland Christian School and treating patients at Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine (LVIM).
