Dr. Jon J. Serafin, a national Certified Medical Examiner, has performed thousands of DOT physical exams and CDL physicals for commercial drivers. With over 17 years of experience in medical exams, Dr. Jon is the designated Medical Examiner for several companies in the Lathrop area and youth sports organizations.
In 1992, Dr. Jon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biodynamics with a minor in Psychology from CSU Sacramento. He graduated cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA, in 1996. Dr. Jon has a rich background in athletics, including soccer, ultimate disc, and triathlons, and has worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor.
Dr. Jon joined his father's private practice in Pleasanton, CA, in 1996, and opened a second office in Lathrop, CA, in 2001. For over 13 years, he has been serving the communities of Lathrop, Manteca, French Camp, Ripon, Weston Ranch, Tracy, and Stockton in San Joaquin County and the Central Valley.
Combining his fitness expertise with chiropractic care, Dr. Jon is dedicated to serving and educating his patients. He served as the Lathrop Chamber of Commerce president in 2005 and was honored as the Quiet Rotarian of the Year in 2007. Lathrop Chiropractic was voted the Best of San Joaquin by the readers of The Record in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
