Dr. John Dimowo, MDÂ is a board-certified anesthesiologist and regenerative medicine specialist at California Pain Regenerative & Wellness Physicians in Ontario, California. With expertise in obstetrical and cardiac anesthesia, he has recently focused on regenerative medicine, including stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). He is also knowledgeable in functional medicine and aesthetics.
Dr. Dimowo’s interest in regenerative medicine stemmed from his personal experience with chronic back pain due to herniation and degenerative lumbar disc. Initially considering minimally invasive surgery, he opted for stem cell therapy, which significantly reduced his pain and allowed him to resume normal activities without anti-inflammatory medication.
Dr. Dimowo earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Nigeria, completed his internship at Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, and practiced general medicine for five years in Nigeria. He then moved to the United States, completing a pediatrics internship at the Medical College of Ohio, residency in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and fellowships in Obstetrics Anesthesiology at USC and Pain Medicine at Emory University.
