Dr. Tarra Boyd, is a board certified, Doctorate of Family Nursing Practitioner graduate from East Carolina University. Owner and operator of Covenantal Health Primary Care, PLLC, she provides required DOT examinations for individuals with Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Services include but not limited to physical examination, screenings, laboratory services (blood, urine specimens), eye and hearing test. Referrals for pulmonary screening and sleep studies are placed accordingly with local service vendors. She provides primary care services for individuals 18 and older. Services include annual wellness, physical examinations, chronic disease management; include but not limited to (Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease, COPD, Arthritis, Joint Conditions, Weight Management, Metabolic Conditions, Mood/Anxiety/Depression conditions, i.e.). Acute sickness appointments available both in-person and virtual (gastrointestinal, urinary, skin, respiratory infections) for existing patients. Age appropriate preventative screenings, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services for disease management monitoring by guideline recommendations. Covenantal Health Primary Care, PLLC, accepts most commercial health plans, and Medicare plans. Medicaid pending. She participates in network with Tricare for veteran patients.
