About the provider

Dr. Carson earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is a licensed chiropractic physician in Illinois, with specialized training in pediatric care and experience treating children with special needs.

Dr. Carson is passionate about helping athletes discover the benefits of chiropractic care. He has given talks to area athletes on how chiropractic can enhance performance and enjoyment of sports. Dr. Carson is an FMCSA National Registry Certified Medical Examiner, certified to perform drug and alcohol screenings. He provides DOT physicals and screenings for CDL drivers, employers, and individuals.

Originally from Detroit, Dr. Carson moved to Illinois after graduating and opened Carson Chiropractic in March 2004. He enjoys traveling with his three children, Carter, Laura, and Cooper. His hobbies include golf, bowling, watching sports, and daydreaming about Detroit muscle cars.
