What is a Driver Helpful® DOT Physical Exam?
Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Dr. Tony Hjelle, DC earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992, completing a pre-med and chiropractic curriculum with a degree in Education and a concentration in Mathematics. After spending three years as an educator, he pursued his chiropractic training at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Since entering practice in 1998, Dr. Hjelle has been dedicated to providing quality chiropractic care and occupational health services. He currently treats patients and performs certified medical examinations at his clinics in Rhinelander and Crandon, Wisconsin.
Dr. Hjelle is a registered and FMCSA-certified DOT Medical Examiner, qualified to conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations for commercial motor vehicle drivers. His extensive experience in evaluating driver health and fitness for duty helps support workplace safety and regulatory compliance throughout the transportation industry.
As a member of TEAMCME, the largest DOT Medical Examiner network in the United States, Dr. Hjelle remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence and staying current with DOT regulations and certification requirements.
