What is a Driver Helpful® DOT Physical Exam?
Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Dr. Nierenberg is a highly experienced chiropractic physician and Certified DOT Medical Examiner (CME), listed on the National Registry of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) (#9804851290). With over 10 years of experience performing DOT physicals for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers, he ensures each exam meets all federal safety and health standards.
Before entering the chiropractic field, Dr. Nierenberg worked in transportation, civil engineering, construction surveying, and roadway safety and design. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences (formerly Los Angeles College of Chiropractic) in 1991.
With more than 30 years of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Nierenberg has treated a wide range of patients and trained chiropractic interns in physical exams, anatomy, and biochemistry. He holds additional certifications in sports chiropractic, orthopedics, and prenatal care, offering comprehensive, individualized treatment in a professional and compassionate environment.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Nierenberg regularly attends continuing education seminars and workshops on manual therapy, sports injury management, orthopedic care, exercise rehab, and updates from both the DOT and FAA.
