Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Kate Clawson, APRN-C is the Founder & Clinical Director of PharmAssist. With over 18 years of experience in obesity and bariatric medicine, Kate has worked with thousands of patients on their weight loss journeys. Her expertise includes bariatric surgery patient care, assisting individuals with preparing for surgery, navigating post-surgical challenges, and managing weight regain. She also coordinated one of the top bariatric facilities in the United States, ensuring patients received the highest standard of care. As a member of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), Kate remains committed to advancing safe and effective obesity treatments.
Through her work in bariatrics, Kate identified a critical, often overlooked issue: low testosterone in men. Many of her male patients experienced fatigue, a lack of motivation, and difficulty losing weight, even after implementing lifestyle changes. Recognizing that hormonal imbalances presented a significant barrier to their success, she expanded her focus to Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). Restoring hormonal balance has been “life-changing” for her patients, enabling them to “regain energy, drive, and the ability to fully engage in their careers, relationships, and family life”.
