What is a Driver Helpfulยฎ DOT Physical Exam?
Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Dr. Michael Panek is a medical examiner for the FMCSA and proficient in drug testing and collection since the formation of the National Registry on May 21, 2015. His training is through TeamCME, and he is currently a member of TeamCME. He performs DOT physicals and drug testing at his private Chicago office as well as for Master Safety in Bensenville, Illinois. He also conducts on-site physicals for private transportation companies.
Dr. Panek is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences and the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He has been in private practice for over 13 years in the Chicago area, specializing in but not limited to sports injuries, work injuries, and personal injury. Dr. Panek spent many summers as a student loading and unloading trucks as a warehouse employee and mover.
