What is a Driver Helpful® DOT Physical Exam?
Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Founded by Dr. Corey A. Whitney, DC in late 2024, Peace River Chiropractic Services, LLC in the beautiful city of Punta Gorda, FL, and SW Florida from Sarasota to Ft. Myers.
Dr. Corey A. Whitney has lived in Southwest Florida for nearly 30 years. He graduated from Zephyrhills High School and earned Master of Science degrees in Biology-Microbiology and Psychology from USF-Tampa. In 2017, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences in Pinellas Park, FL. In the past, Dr. Whitney maintained a CDL and HAZWOPER credentials working for the US Army WMD program.
Dr. Whitney continues to advance his education in the care of others. He has extensive knowledge and training in upper cervical pain from whiplash to Chiari malformation-Type 1. Also, Dr. Whitney has intimate knowledge of shoulder/back/neck pain due to a severe injury when he was 13 from a three-wheeler accident that resulted in wearing a sling for his left arm for over a year.
In his spare time, Dr. Whitney lives the SW Florida lifestyle, fishing and hunting. He actively helps to eradicate the multitude of invasive species that plague SW Florida; such as the reticulated pythons, iguanas, lionfish and feral hogs.
