Biography
At St. Charles Wellness Center, we are proud to introduce Dr. Rosita Atilus, DNP, FNP-BC, a compassionate and experienced primary care provider who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Dr. Atilus is an autonomous Family Nurse Practitioner, double board-certified by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Her broad scope of practice includes health promotion, disease prevention, accurate diagnosis, and the comprehensive management of acute and chronic health conditions for patients of all ages.
Dr. Atilus began her medical journey at Miami Dade College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida International University, followed by her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Florida Atlantic University.
With over 25 years of healthcare experience, Dr. Atilus has worked across various clinical settings, including Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, Gerontology, Womenโs Health, and School Health Programs. Her diverse background has equipped her with the knowledge and empathy necessary to treat patients from all walks of life.
