Katina Pipkins-Byrd, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and FMCSA National Registry–certified Medical Examiner providing DOT physical examinations for commercial motor vehicle drivers. As a provider with Infinity Health and Wellness Clinic, she conducts medical examinations in accordance with 49 CFR §391.41–§391.49 and all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
Ms. Pipkins-Byrd evaluates drivers to determine medical fitness for duty, completes required DOT documentation accurately, and ensures examinations are performed consistently with FMCSA medical standards and guidance. She is committed to maintaining the integrity of the medical certification process while supporting driver safety, public safety, and regulatory compliance.
