Biography
Dr. Ron Cottrell has been serving the Vista, CA community for over 25 years as a trusted chiropractor and certified medical examiner. He earned his Bachelorโs Degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton, where he competed as an NCAA Division I wrestler, and later received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences.
With more than two decades of experience as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, Dr. Cottrell has supported local athletes from Vista, Oceanside, and Rancho Buena Vista high schools, as well as Pop Warner football programs. He holds the prestigious DACBSPยฎ certification (Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians), the highest level of sports injury training in chiropractic care.
Dr. Cottrell specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sports-related injuries, including spine, extremities, concussions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He is known for his thorough evaluations, personalized treatment plans, and commitment to helping patients achieve their health goals through joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, and corrective exercise.
