Dr. Steven Knoernschild attended Logan College of Chiropractic. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology in 1998 and Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2000. He is the owner and president of Millstadt Family Chiropractic, P.C. MFC has been in operation since 2001 and serves a wide variety of health conditions, and people of all ages.
Dr. Knoernschild utilizes a wide variety of techniques in his office. The most popular technique is instrument adjusting. Dr Knoernschild uses a high tech, G2 Sigma Instruments computer/adjuster. This is high velocity/oscillating adjusting. It is great for those that do not prefer the older manual methods and has pre and post adjustment read-out display. Actually, shows the changes! Children as young as 3 and adults as old as 94 have had great results with this method. Very easy on the patient! He also has the Advanced Proficiency Rating with Activator Methods International. Other methods Dr. Knoernschild uses in his office are Diversified (twisting &cracking of bones), Applied Kinesiology, Active Release Technique, Logan Basic Technique, specific exercise programs, and individual nutritional counseling. Dr. Knoernschild is also a certified medical examiner and performs DOT physicals as well as drug urinalysis for CDL and non CDL drivers.
Dr. Knoernschild is very active in his local community and donates his time and funds to a number of local charities and organizations.
