Helping drivers is what we do. We know the medical requirements and we are interested in helping the driver maintain their livelihood. When needed, we steer drivers with medical conditions thru the requirements so they maintain a current CDL medical card.
Biography
Dr. Candace J. Thomasย was born and raised inย Kenbridge, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Pre-Med, fromย Old Dominion Universityย in Norfolk, VA. She attendedย Life Universityย in Marietta, GA, and later transferred toย Sherman Collegeย in Spartanburg, SC, where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Thomas is devoted to providing the best care possible to her patients. She is board certified by theย Virginia Board of Medicineย and has been in practice since 2005. Dr. Thomas is aย DATIA Certified Specimen Collector, trained to perform DOT drug testing, breath alcohol testing, and hair follicle collections for drug testing. She is also a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, trained in blood testing collections.
Dr. Thomas has obtained national certification from theย FMCSAย and serves as a Certified Medical Examiner for theย Department of Transportation. In this role, she ensures that commercial motor vehicle drivers are fit for duty and that our roadways stay safe.
